The Mint Set of 1905 continued the pattern seen in past years, with the Cent and Nickel coined in Philadelphia, and the silver struck in Philadelphia, New Orleans and San Francisco. While there are no extremely rare issues this year, top quality Barber silver is never easy to locate. Gold was struck this year in Philadelphia and San Francisco, and the Philly Double Eagle is a low mintage issue with only about 59,000 struck. None have been graded above MS64+.
