The 1961 Mint Set continued the pattern begun in 1956 with two coins of each of the five circulating denominations. As wtih many of the sets of the 1950s and 1960s, getting gem examples of some of these coins can be difficult, with some coins (the halves in particular) unknown above MS-66.
