The "Westward Journey" Nickel program concluded this year, with the Bison and Ocean reverse being paired to the first new obverse seen on a nickel in nearly seventy years! As in years past, the Cent, Dime, five State Quarters, Half and Dollar are each represented by one example each from the Philadelphia, and Denver mint. For some unknown reason, the quality of the coins in the 2005 Mint Set Registry don't quite measure up to previous or subsequent years, with the highest set rating being a 67, a point to a point and half below the other years.
Notes: This set has bonuses. Please see the Set Composition for a listing.
