1832 Proof Set with Gold

This is one of the most difficult Proof sets to complete in American numismatics, as the quarter eagle and half eagle are each represented by only a couple of examples. Of course, the half dime, dime, quarter, and half dollar are also excessively rare, only slightly less so than the gold issues. Even the copper issues, the half and large cents, are very rare coins, only occasionally encountered. The collector who completes this set will have the highlight of a lifetime. Any exhibition of a completed 1832 Proof set will grab the attention of even the most seasoned numismatist.
