1992 Proof Set Current Finest List

In 1992, the U.S. Mint began producing special strikings of the Dime, Quarter and Half Dollar in 90% silver for inclusion in Proof Sets. Production of 90% silver versions of our circulating coins had stopped in 1964 and even though these coins were hardly meant for spending, collectors were glad to again see the familiar Dime, Quarter and Half struck in the precious metal.
