The Proof coinage of 2009 yielded a larger-than-average 26-piece set this year, with three special series being issued simultaneously. The Cent marked the bicentennial of Lincoln's birth with four reverses depicting phases of his eventful life. The Quarters paid tribute to the District of Columbia and America's five overseas territories and the Presidential Dollars continued with Presidents No. 9 through 12. Fortunately for the collector, all of the coins have ample populations in PR70DC so completing this set with the ultimate rating of 71 is not too difficult and some two dozen Registry participants have done just that.
