In November, 2012, the U.S. Mint released a limited edition of 50,000 silver proof sets which contained the following 90% silver coins: the 2012-S Roosevelt dime, the five 2012-S American the Beautiful quarters, the 2012-S Kennedy half dollar, and the 2012-W .999 fine silver 1 ounce silver eagle. At the issue price of $150, only about 45,000 were sold, making it fairly scarce for a modern mint issue.
