About This Set: This collection was never intended to be an assembly of the highest certified grades or the most valuable dates. Rather, it is a search for Morgan dollars that possess individuality, originality, and visual harmony. Preference is given to coins with naturally developed peripheral color or warm golden patina, where time has added character rather than obscured it. Many pieces were selected because they transcend the expectations of their date or mint, revealing beauty in issues often overlooked by collectors. Key dates and condition rarities are included when appropriate, but only when they complement the aesthetic and philosophy of the set. The collection continues to evolve, with the 1893-S remaining the final great challenge.
