Tales Collection's Coin Album
Blue and bright, this coin is covered in bright luster and is impressively colorful in person. Though only graded a mint state 63, no distracting marks appear when viewed without magnification, a wonderful coin that catches the eye no matter its setting. (CNAS Certified)
With surfaces that allude to a higher grade, this coin boasts a nearly undisturbed sheen on Queen Victoria's portrait. Rather than small bright pockets of lustre as the true view suggests, when seen in person the fields are only minutely disturbed with two small patches of browning on both the obverse and reverse. Despite this the coin showcases a bright original luster that accentuates the wonderful colours that come to appear on copper coinage. (CNAS Certified)
A reflective cameo obverse featuring soft medium pink rose toning accompanied with blues and greens throughout the surface. The reverse is equally as interesting as it showcases wonderfully exaggerated die polish when turned into the light. Rare to find Victorian cents with this proof-like obv quality from mint state strikes. Obverse 4 Possibly from 58th Catalogue of Canadian Decimal Coins, New Netherlands Sale, Sept 22, 1964(Lot 180); almost certainly from United States and Foreign Coins including the Arnold Perl Collection of Colonial and Continental Currency Sale, Lester Merkin, Nov 6, 1965(Lot 832); from the Canadian Coinoisseur Torex Auction, Featuring Part III of the Mason Collection, Febuary 2003(Lot 376).

Beautiful glossy coin. Has an abundance of great original luster. Difficult to find a nicer RB 1896 than this one. PQ Coin. (CNAS Certified)
One of the most visually appealing Large Cents I own, its undisturbed brilliance glows in all occasions and its fields feature a bright creamy levitating luster. Previously enclosed in an old embossed CNAS stickered ICCS flip graded MS 65RD. The Prominence X Sale Lot #811

Landon Collection, exhibits wonderful original surfaces. Former ICCS MS 65RD
The PCGS TV does not do this coin justice unfortunately, very lustrous red colour shows past the streaks of brown brightening up the glossy finish of the coin. PQ Coin. (CNAS Certified)

Brown but still glowing like the sun, this coin displays intense glossy luster throughout every part of the coin. Toned in such a way that it is less a "Brown" and more of a "Blue and Brown", a wonderful brown coin that is difficult to improve upon. (Former Top Plate)
Nice tone and attractive luster in person. From a hoard of 1942 5 cent coins among others, many others beautifully toned like this one. (CNAS Certified)
