Began collecting Indian head cents in 1959. I was 9. Bought a 1793 S-6 Large Cent XF-40 for $6.00 from a coin shop on Tremont Avenue, Bronx, NY. I was 10. Began to hoard Silver Dollars in 1963. I was 13. Stopped collecting when I was 15 in 1965 after my father took my silver dollars. away. Gave my daughter my Indian head cents and my 1793 S-6 Large Cent in 2000. I was 50. Began collecting again Oct. 2018. In Nov 2018 Saw the 1793 S-6 Large Cent for sale for $13,000 by a Coin Shop in NC.
