Legend Rare Coin Auctions Auction The Regency Auction XXI May 2017 May-2017 BD-2, R-2. Well struck devices show only a hint of wear on the high points. While the surfaces show a number of tiny ticks and giggles, the fields do retain some PL reflectivity and rich orange-gold color. The BD-2 is the most common early $10, making it a great example for type purposes. PCGS 75, NGC 39. The last NGC and the last PCGS coins sold for the same amount, realizing $14,688 (both toward the end of 2016). This coin has a lot more flash, although the surfaces overall were smoother on the others. Early $10s are always popular and command attention when they cross the block. PCGS # 8564 | EST: $12,000-$14,000 50C 1964 ACCENTED HAIR. PCGS PR67 DCAM (83447042)-- From JK’s Mirror Collection. A superb black and white GEM DCAM example of this variety. The frosted reliefs and mirrored fields are immaculate, and flawless. The eye appeal is superb. PCGS 29, NGC 32. The last PCGS PR67 DCAM sold in January 2016 for $5,170. Keep in mind that a PR68 DCAM would bring $15,000 or more! The CU value $3,850. This is a great opportunity for any advanced collector of this modern series. PCGS # 96801 Cert.
