Legend Rare Coin Auctions Auction Regency Event: Exclusively Legend Oct-2019 FROM THE CORONET GOLD COLLECTION To call this coin anything less than an ULTRA HIGH END MONSTER is a crime. Our sister company Legend Numismatics has resubmitted this coin (as have we) seeking at least a +. PCGS is insanely tight. Every time we view this coin, we just shiver. We have never seen anything like it. Beyond amazing surfaces not only are clean and sleek, they are fully prooflike. They are not a dipped out prooflike either. Only if you use a strong glass can you see a few trivial tiny ticks/lines scattered about. None are visible to the naked eye. Both sides are a killer original gold/pale greenish gold color. There is a copper toning dot (and it is toning) on the N of United on the reverse (which proves its originality). Miss Liberty and the details are thickly frosted and are sharply struck. There is strong contrast. The eye appeal will knock your socks off! PCGS 4, NGC 1, CAC 3. PCGS actually has graded one higher-but it is not CAC. This is the famous coin from the long hidden "Midwest Collection" sold by Goldberg in 2016 where it realized $170,375. The coin was purchased directly out of the sale by Legend Numismatics and placed in the Coronet Gold Type set. While there may be 3 others graded by PCGS, we assure you, NONE of them are close to this coin's total package of crazy eye appeal, SUPER HIGH END quality, and a coin that at first glance looks like a proof! Good luck! Cert. Number 33422038 PCGS # 8902
