FROM THE SEATTLE COLLECTION A lovely example, one of only two dates featuring the with Rays reverse. This is a nice Gem with a bold frosty luster and sharply struck devices. The date is boldly doubled and adds an interesting variety for the collector. There is a planchet flaw on the reverse which is mint made and we note for accuracy. PCGS 41, NGC 53. The last PCGS-graded example sold for $2,040 in October 2018. More recently an NGC-graded coin sold for $2,100 in December 2019.
