Legend Rare Coin Auctions Auction The Regency Auction 29 Nov-2018 Wonderfully original and pretty! Satiny lustrous surfaces glow from under a delicate dusting of an amber-gold and olive-russet hues that yield before the highly lustrous silver in the centers. Sharply struck details add to this coin's great look! PCGS 10, NGC 12, CAC 7. While this date is very scarce in MS66 and finer, it is remarkably affordable--just goes to show how great a bargain the Barber Dime series has become. The last one to sell was a dull gray color that brought only $1,140. Prior to that, even non-CAC coins were selling in the $1,500-$2,000 range. The current CU value is listed at $1,650 and with this coin's great look bidding should exceed that amount. Note only 7 grade higher on the PCGS Population reports, making this GEM a great addition for any set. Cert. Number 25026873 PCGS # 4848
