The Norweb Collection - An American Legacy

Acknowledgments

This book could not have been written without the valuable assistance, freely given, of many friends and researchers. The authors are indebted to many, but especially to the following.

First mention must be made of Mr. and Mrs. R. Henry Norweb, Jr. They both gave of their time and effort, making personal and family archival material available to the authors, which became the basis for most of what appears in this book. R. Henry Norweb, Jes gracious cooperation made our task that much easier.

Margo Russell, Coin World editor emeritus, kindly agreed to compose a foreword for this book. Margo was a long-time personal friend of Mrs. Norweb, and her warm appreciation sets a sympathetic tone for what follows it.
