PCGS Grader

PCGS is seeking a coin grader to authenticate and grade coins. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive industry knowledge of coins and be able to add experience and depth to the PCGS Grading Team. The individual should be detail oriented, have great organizational skills, and be able to focus on coins for long periods of time.

What You’ll Do:

  • Review, authenticate, and assess the condition of coins for grading and encapsulation
  • Improve knowledge and skill with experience and numismatic research
  • Maintain individual PCGS Grading production goals
  • Maintain quality of grading product
  • Complete other coin processing/evaluation duties as assigned by leaders in the grading room

Raw Coin Authenticator

Raw Coin Authenticator

We’re looking for Raw Coin Authenticators to join our team to authenticate and evaluate the condition of coins (US Vintage and World). Ideal candidates will possess comprehensive industry knowledge of numismatics, be an expert in PCGS’s authentication and grading standards, and be able to add experience and depth to our authentication team. Individuals should be detail-oriented, have good research and organization skills, be able to focus on coins over long periods of time, and be able to work in an assembly line-type of environment. Preferred applicants will have one-to-three years of coin authentication and/or grading experience as a professional, dealer or collector and must be current on hobby trends and news.

What You’ll Do:

  • Become an expert in coin condition standards
  • Become an expert in processing standards
  • Authenticate and evaluate the condition of coins in an expedient manner but without compromising accuracy
  • Maintain individual authentication production goals
  • Improve knowledge and skill with personal research and experience
  • Stay up-to-date with current industry developments and news, especially as it pertains to new counterfeits and alteration methods circulating the market
  • Share knowledge to help improve the skill of the Authentication team
  • Assist the PCGS Grading team if/when necessary in their traditional grading environment

Slabbed Coin Authenticator

Slabbed Coin Authenticator

We’re looking for Slabbed Coin Authenticators to join our team to inspect and determine authenticity of coin labels and holders (PCGS, NGC, CACG, ANACS, ICG). Ideal candidates will be extremely detail orientated, have comprehensive knowledge of the coin grading industry and exhibit critical thinking skills in a fast-paced assembly line-type of environment. Preferred applicants will have one-to-three years of experience handling and/or authenticating coin collectibles certified by third-party grading companies either as dealer or collector.

What You’ll Do:

  • Become an expert in encapsulated authentication processes and standards
  • Become an expert in the encapsulation of coins and methods used by coin grading companies
  • Inspect and determine authenticity of the label and holder for coin grading brands in an expedient manner but without compromising accuracy
  • Maintain individual authentication production goals
  • Improve knowledge and skill with personal research and experience
  • Stay up-to-date with current industry developments and news, especially as it pertains to new label and holder counterfeiting methods circulating the market
  • Share knowledge to help improve the skill of the Authentication and Brand Protection teams
  • Assist the PCGS Brand Protection team if/when necessary
