2026 Florida United Numismatists Show First Event PCGS Attends in 40th Anniversary Year

The year 2026 has barely begun and PCGS is already hitting the ground running during what is the company’s 40th anniversary. Much of the PCGS team is taking to the skies and hitting the road to attend the Florida United Numismatists Convention, widely known as the FUN Show, an annual event that this year takes place January 8-11, 2026, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. Around 700 coin dealers, bullion brokers, and numismatic vendors will be there, including PCGS – the team will be excited to meet you at Booth 1207 and across the bourse floor.

One of the biggest benefits of visiting the PCGS booth at the FUN Show is the opportunity to drop off many types of coins for on-site grading, with all show services available for U.S. coins. Other convenient grading options available for other numismatic treasures, including banknotes, but please contact PCGS to confirm if world coins or other pieces will be eligible for on-site grading. Dropping off your coins at the PCGS booth for on-site or office grading not only saves you time and money on shipping and processing, but it also gives you the added security of knowing that you’re depositing your collectibles directly in the custody of PCGS. Show submissions will be accepted through 12:00 p.m. on Friday, January 9, 2026, while office grading submissions will be accepted through 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 10, 2026.

Additionally, PCGS will be hosting its 40th Anniversary Cocktail Reception from 4:00 to 6:00 pm on Thursday, January 8, 2026, in room N320B. Tickets must be picked up from the booth beforehand; you must have received an official invitation email and show the email to a PCGS representative at the booth to receive a ticket.

PCGS is also hosting its Young Collectors Dinner, a limited-capacity event for PCGS Collectors Club members and PCGS Authorized Dealers aged 18 to 25 years. Up to 20 young collectors will be able to attend a special get-together where they can meet, learn, and grow in numismatics with other young numismatists. Tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis at the PCGS booth.

Along with PCGS being in attendance for the first show of the company’s 2026 event calendar, there are many other reasons to visit the FUN Show in sunny Orlando.
