Test Your Grading Skills at the FUN Show and WIN a MS65 $20 Saint Gaudens!

In January at the FUN show in Orlando, PCGS PhotogradeTM Online will sponsor the display of two PCGS grading sets: Morgan Dollars (MS60 to MS68) and $20 Gold Saint Gaudens (MS60 to MS67). In conjunction with this display, we will sponsor a PCGS Collectors Club Grading Contest. The winner will receive a PCGS Secure Plus MS65 $20 Saint Gaudens!

The PCGS Collectors Club Grading Contest gives collectors an opportunity to test their skills and see how they compare to the world’s finest numismatists, the PCGS graders. The experts at PCGS have graded over 23 million coins and have a combined experience of 342 years. The collector who enters this contest and scores 100% will compare to the world’s best.

The contest will run from Thursday, January 5 through Saturday, January 7 at PCGS booth (#100). The winner will be announced on Saturday at 2 p.m. The prize will either be hand-delivered at the show or shipped at the winner’s discretion. To enter the contest, ask for BJ Searls or Gayle Kean.

Contest rules:

  1. You will be asked to grade 20 U.S. coins with random grades and denominations.
  2. A deduction of one point will be made for each incorrect grade. The winner is the participant who gets the most number of correct grades. “Correct” is defined as matching the PCGS grade exactly.
  3. Entrants must have a current subscription to the PCGS Collectors Club or be a PCGS Set Registry member for at least a year with active sets. Dealers are not eligible.
  4. Past winners are ineligible.
  5. In the event of a tie, a ten-coin “playoff” will determine the winner.
We look forward to seeing you in Orlando and testing your skills! Should you have further questions, please contact BJ Searls at [email protected].
