PCGS introduces new holders for Hong Kong grading

PCGS is introducing several new holder sizes in preparation for onsite grading in Hong Kong in conjunction with the Hong Kong Coin Convention and Antique Watch Fair. PCGS will be offering a new jumbo holder for use with

• Silver Panda 1 kg (100mm x 13.7mm)
• Dragon and Phoenix 20 oz (100mm x 9 mm)
• Gold Panda 1 kg (90mm x 9.5mm)
• Unicorn 12 oz (80mm x 9mm)
• Year of the Rooster rectangular (80.2mm x 50.2mm x 5.1mm)

Other coins of similar sizes can also be encapsulated in the Jumbo holder. In addition, PCGS will be offering the standard Oversize holder for use with

• Silver Panda 5 oz (70.1mm x 5.2mm)
• Gold Panda 12 oz. (70mm x 6mm)
• 2003 Silver Panda 5 oz (70mm x 5mm)
• 2011 Silver Panda 5 oz (70mm x 4.8mm)
• Unicorn 5 oz (70mm x 5.75mm)
• Panda Silver 5 oz (69.9mm x 5.5mm)
• 2011 Gold Panda 5 oz (60mm x 4mm)
• 1987 Gold Panda 5 oz. (59.9mm x 4mm)

PCGS will also offer the standard holder, both regular size and extra thick, which can accommodate over 80 different coin sizes. Again, the coins described here are examples of what can be encapsulated, in fact any coin of the measurements described can be encapsulated.
