The Roger E. Johnson Pattern Collection Rare and Valuable Patterns Surface After 40 Years

Naperville, Illinois – The Roger E. Johnson Pattern Collection, which was assembled in the late 1970s and early 1980s, has been off the market ever since. This important collection is now being marketed exclusively by JMS Coins.

The coins recently resurfaced after being locked up for nearly 40 years. Many of the coins are R8 and R7 rarity ratings. After consultation with James Sego, it was decided the coins should be certified by the world's top grading service, PCGS.

Within days of the collection surfacing, the collectible's owner and Mr. Sego flew with the coins to PCGS and had many graded. David Hall, PCGS Co-Founder and Don Willis, PCGS President, were both amazed at the quality and rarity of the collection.

The patterns, along with other numismatic material, will be marketed in several phases, exclusively by JMS Coins of Naperville Illinois.

JMS Coins, owned by James Sego, has been in business since 1986. The company specializes in high-grade rare coins. James Sego is a PCGS Authorized Dealer, and a member of the Professional Numismatists Guild.
