PCGS Set Registry Update

Belize is a nation rich in Mayan culture, and the Spanish Empire was the first to colonize the country in the 16th century. The Mayan calendar began over 5,000 years ago, and historical accounts of when the Maya settled Belize vary. In 1862, England renamed this region British Honduras, and it became a British colony. On September 21, 1981, Belize was granted its independence as a sovereign nation. The coin depicted above, struck by the Franklin Mint, is included in a set PCGS recently listed titled 1976 Belize Silver Proof Set. This set and many others have been listed for our members to build.
