(Santa Ana, California) – The Long Beach Expo collectibles convention will open its doors to collectors of coins, banknotes, sports cards and memorabilia and much more June 6-8, 2024, at the Long Beach Convention Center. Serving as the longest-standing collectibles show in Southern California, the first Long Beach Expo was held in 1964. Over the years it has grown in size and scope to become one of the biggest collectibles shows on the West Coast.

“This is a phenomenal opportunity for coin collectors and coin dealers to encapsulate their classic U.S. gold coins,” said PCGS President Stephanie Sabin. “We’re running this special at a time when we see the bullion market reaching record-pricing territory and collectors and dealers are trying to maximize their budgets. This special allows more people to more affordably protect their gold coins with the most trusted third-party holders around. No matter where the market goes in the coming days, getting your classic gold coins encapsulated by PCGS maximizes their liquidity, security, and value.”

“We are expecting thousands of visitors and hundreds of dealers to attend the June Long Beach Expo,” said Professional Coin Grading Service President Stephanie Sabin. Her company, which authenticates coins and banknotes, will be encapsulating and grading coins onsite at Booth 401 along with Professional Sports Authenticator, which will perform the same type of services for sports cards and related memorabilia at Booth 1059. “It has been amazing to see the changes at this show over the many years I’ve been attending, and I can’t wait to see the action at the June Long Beach Expo.”

Lot viewings for the multimillion-dollar Heritage Auctions U.S. Coins Signature Auction sale will take place at Booth 429. Collectors of coins, banknotes, and sports memorabilia can get their questions answered in Meet the Expert sessions hosting coin authority Steve Feltner, banknote specialist Philip Thomas, and Memory Lane sports maestro Dan Wulkan at Booth 908.

The Kids’ Treasure Hunt brings together families with fun trivia and exciting prizes, while giveaways of coins, banknotes, and sports memorabilia will occur daily at 2 p.m. with those present upon drawing qualified to win. “We’re excited to continue celebrating our 60th Diamond Anniversary at the June Long Beach Expo,” remarked Professional Coin Grading Service Director of Events Samantha Dark. “A diverse array of collectors and dealers from the entire West Coast and beyond travel here each show. It has something for virtually everyone in the field of collectibles.” For more information about the June 2024 Long Beach Expo, please visit https://www.longbeachexpo.com/.
