World gold coins, crowns, and minors will be offered in Session B which will take place on Friday, August 10 beginning at 10:00 a.m. Gold issues feature a lovely example of the very rare Australian 1852 Adelaide Pound. Historically significant as the first Australian coin produced in Australia from Australian ore, this important coin is graded MS-63+ by PCGS. A large selection of British rarities showcases a high grade Oxford mint Triple Unite, a well struck coin with attractive and original surfaces in PCGS AU-58.

The section of world crowns and minors provides a pleasing selection of coins that offers something for every collector. Italian issues are highlighted by a nice run of Papal States Piastras, and Mexican coinage includes a small offering of 8 Reales and Pesos. Russian coins offer a nice selection of Rubles and are highlighted by a 1796 Albertus Ruble offered as Lot 40747. A coin that is regarded by some authorities as a pattern issue, this nicely toned coin is housed in a PCGS AU-55 Secure Holder.
