PCGS Set Registry Update

Agatha Christie was one of the most brilliant writers of the 20th century, and her favorite theme was the murder mystery. She took readers on journeys through the Nile River, the Orient Express train, and the city of London, to name a few places. Her main character in many of her books was a detective by the name of Hercule Poirot. He is from Belgium, and his name is derived from the mythical Roman hero Hercules. Monsieur Poirot spoke fluent French, solving his cases with his brilliant powers of deduction and reasoning. Hercules first made his appearance on French coinage beginning in 1795 on the 5 Francs denomination and is flanked by two goddesses. In 1965, the same Hercules rendition was brought to coinage on the 10 Francs coin, which is part of the following set titled 1965 French Mint Set. Hercules continues to appear on French coinage in the present day and Hercule Poirot keeps on intriguing readers.

Additional sets from various countries have been added, so please feel free to browse the PCGS Set Registry when you have a chance and you may find there is a set for almost anyone to build. The PCGS Set Registry offers many different sets from all over the world and specialty sets for advanced collectors. We appreciate your continued patronage!
