The 1863 Doubled Die Reverse Indian Cent is somewhat scarce with very few coins found so far with this variety. The doubling is visible on the reverse side of the coin, towards the incuse design of the leaves on the wreath. Although, most examples show stronger doubling on the right side of the reverse towards the right wreath, as the left side is less prominent.
