Charles Morgan:

The 1938 Jefferson Nickel, Quadrupled-Die Obverse, FS-105.

This popular Cherrypickers' Guide variety (FS-105) shows a quadrupling with a moderate spread on "IN GOD WE TRUST," "LIBERTY," the star, and the date. This doubling creates a naked-eye thickening of the bases of the lettering.

PCGS will certify this collectible Jefferson Nickel variety through our Variety Attribution Program.
