Ron Guth:

Overton 105 is ties with Overton 123 as the rarest die varieties of 1828 Half Dollars. The 2 in the date on the O-105 has a curled base and a pointed top (also known as "No Knob"). A few high-grade circulated pieces are known, but there is only one Mint State example known at present.
