The 2008-W $10 Uncirculated Gold Buffalo's turned out to be one of the best coins from 2008. As they are extremely popular and even the most popular out of the four different Gold Buffalo denominations produced in 2008.
By April 2010, or about a year and a half after the coins were issued, the coins were selling in the $1800 range. That's over a 600% increase from the original Mint issue price of $289.95 each.
