Besides the U.S. Mint accidentally producing thousands of Missing Edge Lettering Washington Dollars, it also accidentally produced Doubled Overlapped Edge Lettering Dollars.
A Doubled/Overlapped Edge Lettering Dollar will have the edge lettering impressed on the coin twice. The lettering will be over lapping each other in the same direction.
These coins accidentally went through the production process twice and in return, received a second impression on the edge of the coin.
