Jaime Hernandez:

In 2010, the Mint struck two versions of the 5 Ounce America the Beautiful Quarters, which are the Bullion version and the Collector version.

The Bullion version (no mint mark) was only sold to Mint Authorized Bullion Purchasers. These Bullion Purchasers then resold the coins to the public.

The Collector version (Special Strikes) will have the P mint mark and also have a slightly different finish than that of the Bullion versions. The 2010 Collector versions were offered to collectors directly by the U.S. Mint (unlike the Bullion versions which are only sold to Mint Authorized Purchasers). The Collector versions went on sale on July 28, 2011 at a price of $228.95 each.

First Strike: Coins submitted to PCGS within the first 30 days of the release date qualified to receive a special Frist Strike designation on the PCGS holder.
