Jaime Hernandez:

The 2006-W Proof Silver Eagles were issued by the U.S. Mint on June 30, 2011 at 12:00 p.m. (ET). Each coin had an issue price of $59.95 each, plus $4.95 for shipping and handling. In 2011, the price of proof silver eagles increased by about $15, mainly due to the spike in the price of silver. For example, the 2010-W Proof Silver eagles were sold by the U.S. Mint at a price of $45.95 each, in 2010.
