The 2013-W Helen Taft Spouse coins first went on sale at the U.S. Mint on December 02, 2013. Prices for the Uncirculated coins were set at $795.00 each but the prices ranged throughout the year based off the spot price of gold. Helen Taft was the wife of William Howard Taft or the 27th President of the United States.
The coins came in really nice quality ranging mostly from MS67-MS69 condition. Coins in perfect MS70 condition are a little more scarce but still readily available at a significant premium over MS69 prices.
