This is the 10th year in a row that the Mint has struck Uncirculated 1 Ounce American Gold Buffaloes. The Uncirculated Gold Buffaloes were only sold to U.S. Mint authorized purchasers at a small premium over the spot price of Gold. The authorized purchasers then sold the coins to other dealers and the public. Most 2015 Uncirculated Gold Buffaloes came well struck. Examples in MS68 and MS69 appear to be the most common. Perfect MS70 examples are more difficult to find but enough coins are out there in this condition to meet collectors demand.
