The 2015-P Lyndon B. Johnson Reverse Proof Presidential Dollars, were officially released by the U.S. Mint on October 27, 2015. The coins came in a limited Coin and Chronicles Set, which consisted of a silver medal, an 8-cent stamp and the Johnson Reverse Proof Presidential Dollar. The set had a maximum authorized mintage of 25,000. Each set was priced at $57.95. The Lyndon B. Johnson Reverse Proof Presidential Dollar, was only available through the Chronicles Set. So collectors would either have to purchase the Chronicles Set or wait until the sets were broken apart in the secondary market, in order to obtain the Johnson Reverse Proof Presidential Dollar.
