The 2016-S Shawnee Quarter was officially released by the U.S. Mint on February 01, 2016. The Mint offered the coins in rolls containing 40 coins each. It also offered the coin in bags containing 100 coins each. The Mint struck the coins at Philadelphia, Denver and San Francisco, therefore offering different mint coin roll options to collectors.
The 2016-S Shawnee Quarters were not issued into circulation. The U.S. Mint only sold these to collectors and the public. Only the Philadelphia and Denver Shawnee Quarters were issued into circulation.
