David Akers (1975/88): The relatively low mintage and low number of auction appearances correctly indicate that this is a very scarce date. Choice uncirculated specimens are much more elusive than the three preceeding dates, and most of the ones that I have seen are frosty and softly struck over Liberty's ear.
