The 2023 Louisiana Innovation Dollars were officially released by the U.S. Mint on April 10, 2023. The U.S. Mint offered the coins in a 25 coin roll, priced at $34.50 for each roll. The coins were also available in canvas coin bags containing 100 coins each, at a price of $117.50. The coin rolls or canvas bags could have been ordered containing Philadelphia Mint Denver Mint struck coins.

The Louisiana Innovation Dollars were the second coin design offered in 2023 by the U.S. Mint for the American Innovation $1 Coin Program.
