Jaime Hernandez:

The 2000-D Millenium Sacagawea Dollar came in a special set titled Millenium Coinage & Currency Set.

Millenium Coinage & Curency Set

The Millenium Coin & Currency Set contained a $1 Curency Note, a 2000 Uncirculated Silver Eagle and finally the 2000-D Sacagawea Dollar. The Mint produced a limited 75,000 sets and sold them at an issue price of $39.00 each.

Most 2000-D Sacagawea Dollars that originated from the Millenium Coin & Currency Set had a special burnished finish. PCGS will only assign the Millenium designation on 2000-D Sacagawea Dollars that are submited to PCGS in the original sealed Mint packaging.
