DELISTED

"[This variety] was first discovered by Robert H. Burnie circa 1952-55 (Burnie-133), but overlooked in the first edition of his reference..."

In March 1994, Jay Roe purchased an example from Allen Stockton and assigned it new BG number 853W. Separately, PCGS certified examples of this variety, assigning it new BG number 893.

In the second edition of the Breen-Gillio reference, the authors assigned the number BG-853A to this variety, effectively eliminating and delisting BG-853W and BG-893.
