Ron Guth:

BG-933 is an 1875-dated Indian Head Half Dollar gold piece, octagonal in shape, that was issued for use in jewelry, and which is now avidly collected by modern numismatists. It is considered a rare piece in general, but there are a fair number of Mint State examples to satisfy collector demand. The best examples top out at MS66. Some are fully Prooflike, indicating that the dies were polished at one point.

BEWARE: BG-933 shares an obverse with a CAL GOLD token. A real BG-933 reads "1/2 DOLLAR CAL" on the reverse. If the reverse reads: "1/2 CAL GOLD" it is a token of much lesser value.
