The 1972 Doubled Die FS-104 is beleived to be the scarcest doubled die variety for 1972. There are atleast 7 widely recognized 1972 Doubled Die Lincoln Cents. Very few examples have been found for the FS-104 Doubled Die, making it a fairly expensive coin. Even in circulated grades it trades for hundreds of dollars due to it's scarcity.
