The JR-2 variety of 1796 Dimes is the only variety with a berry between the lowest leaf on the branch on the left side of the reverse and the ribbon bow (none of the other varieties have a berry in this position). This is a slightly scarcer variety that should command a premium over the common type price, especially for nice examples.
Census information is limited but it seems that very few examples are known in Mint State. The finest example is an incredible PCGS MS66.
