The 2007-D John Adams Presidential Dollar was only issued in special mint sets for the year. Therefore, at PCGS we refer to them as Special Strikes. The coins were not issued for circulation, so most examples are in high condition ranging from about Sp68-SP69. Any coins grading higher are considered rare.
