Jaime Hernandez: The 2007-D Washington Dollar Position A with Weak Edge Lettering has atleast one weak letter on the edge inscriptions of the coin or, it's missing some of the details on one of the letters on the edge lettering.

1st Day of Issue is a special designation reserved for coins that are submitted to PCGS on the first day in which they were officially released by the U.S. Mint.

The 2007-D George Washington Dollar is also the first Presidential Dollar coin released by the Denver Mint, in the Presidential Dollar Program.

The coin was officially released into circulation on February 15, 2007.

This coin's edge lettering reads upside-down when the President's portrait faces up, also known as Position A edge lettering.
