Jaime Hernandez:
The 1927 Special Strike Buffalo Nickels are extremely rare. Only 3 examples are believed to exist. The coins have a very sharp strike and an unusual finish making it fairly easy to differentiate them from business strike and proof coins. The 1927 Special Strike Buffalo Nickels are definitely very special and deserve the Special Strike status.
