In 2009 the Mint released four different Presidential Dollars designs. These were the William Henry Harrison, John Tyler, James K. Polk and Zachary Taylor Dollars. The Mint issued the four different designs in Uncirculated and Proof format.
The James K. Polk Proof Dollar came in really nice quality from Proof Sets ranging anywhere from about PR67-PR69 Deep Cameo on average. Examples in PR70 condition were more difficult to find but enough were struck in perfect PR70DC condition to meet the collectors demand.
