Proof 1832 Large Cents are exceedingly rare. Perhaps as many as five different examples are known, one of which is in the Smithsonian and the other is from an old sale in the early part of the twentieth century and which has not been seen for over one hundred years). Thus, there are only three collectible examples at present (2015).

The finest Proof 1832 Large Cent is the PCGS PR64RD example tha tis currently part of the ESM Collection (one of the finest collections of U.S. coins ever assembled).
