Two varieties comprise the Bust Right versions of the 1787 Vermont Copper: Ryder 12 and Ryder 14. Both varieties are relatively common as far as Vermont Coppers go, though both are difficult to find in high grade. The Ryder 12 is often struck over other U.S. Colonial coins, usually a Nova Constellatio Copper. Mint State examples are exceedingly rare, as are examples with even a trace of original red color.
