Judd 1484 is a copper version of the regular 1876 Half Eagle in Proof. Despite previous speculation that as many as four to a dozen examples are known, only two demonstrably different examples have been confirmed (see the PCGS CoinFacts Conditon Census listed below). Saul Techman believes these were sold as part of off-metal denomination Proof sets.
