Cameo Proof 1904 Quarter Dollars represent approximately 10% of the total certified population. This figure may increase over time because PCGS did not recognize Cameo and Deep Cameo Proofs in its early years, but it will still be low compared to the non-Cameos. Most of the Cameo Proof 1904 Quarters are really nice, mostly in high grade, and usually with great eye appeal. The PCGS CoinFacts Condition Census consist entirely of PR66CAM and better examples. PCGS has not graded a single Deep Cameo Proof of this datre, though one or two might be discovered in the afore-mentioned non-Cameo category. Such a coin would be a welcome -- and valuable -- discovery.
